Natural pyrite trillions are faceted and top drilled, and have absolutely no finishes. Pyrite is becoming more and more popular in jewelry, but it's had many uses through the centuries, including part of the firing mechanism of fire arms during the 15th and 16th centuries, as it will actually produce sparks when struck hard enough on a rough surface!
